Vegetarian Meals for Phentermine Users

PhenTabzIf you’re a vegetarian, you’ll have probably noticed that everything is either cooked with cheese, or it’s full of lentils. Hardly the most exciting of meal plans! However, I have for you here some delicious bangers and mash.

The beauty of this recipe is you can use vegie sausages from the supermarket and not feel too guilty about the fat content as they are already low in fat!

2 potatoes per person
4 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Butter
3-4 sausages per person

Vegie Sausages and MashMethod

  1. Peel potatoes while bringing a pan of water to the boil, cutting in to small, even sized portions. Submerge in the boiling water for 15-20 minutes or until soft. While the potatoes are boiling, cook as per the manufacturer’s instructions the required amount of sausages.
  2. When the potatoes are soft, drain and place back into the pan, using a masher, mash the potatoes so it’s not quite mash, but not crushed potatoes. Add the butter and milk and whisk the mash with a hand whisker until smoother.
  3. Add 5-10 turns of fresh black pepper and re-mash the potatoes, if the potatoes aren’t to your taste, add a little more milk and butter and repeat the whisking stage until the correct texture, density and flavour has been reached. A handy tip if you’ve over boiled your potatoes or added too much milk; add a tablespoon of dried skimmed milk to bring it back to mash.

This meal is delicious served with either baked beans, or veggie gravy! If you want to make it a little more special, during the cooking of the sausage, soften some red onions and add to gravy
